Dear Professor Larycia Hawkins, Recently your conviction to believe that Muslims and Christians worship the same God has caused a firestorm throughout the country.  Wheaton College had to suspend you because your beliefs do not match theirs.  And to be sure, the college did not suspend you for wearing a hijab. The latest news going around the country is how Muslim discrimination is on the rise.  With the latest attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, California it is being reported that Muslims are being the target of hate.  It is very unfortunate that this is happening. No one should be marginalized for the few that cause crimes.  The media is quick to point out that something must be done about it. Sadly, hate towards Muslims will continue to increase because it is very unlikely that Islamic terrorist cells will stop killing innocent people.  The more attacks created by Muslim terrorists the country will resent them even more.  What should be done?  The Nation should address the problem.  Muslims themselves must get involved and stop people they know who are determine to cause us harm. A few years ago I was reading the bible and came across this very startling verse: "A prophecy against Damascus:  See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins."  Isaiah 17:1 When I first read this verse it blew my mind away.  At the time when I read this verse Syria had no problems yet.  How can this come to pass.  Fast forward to the present and how times have changed. We have at least 6 countries fighting in this region.  These countries are Syria, Iran, USA, France, Russia, and Jordan.  England recently reported that they will jump to the fray.  Turkey recently got involved when they shot down the Russian jet.  Even Pope Francis has openly declared that there is a World War 3 taking place. As of recent history, France has suffered from two major terrorists attacks.  Our hearts go out to the French people.  We hope and pray it stops.  But deep in our hearts we know it will continue.  The acts of a few Islamic terrorists are causing a huge debate across the globe.  Do we accept the Syrian refugees? One must ask why these refugees are still getting accepted.  The best solution is to have an international coalition set up a safe zone to house all the refugees, but to bring them to America, or other European countries such as France, is not a very good idea. A few days ago, I read a comment on Facebook about someone criticizing the Christian Right.  I replied by saying, Christian Right??  What the heck does that mean?  If there is such as thing as a Christian Right, then there MUST be a thing as an Immoral Left. Today over one million French citizens are protesting the murders of the 12 cartoonist.  Over 40 heads of state are present.  The ideology of thinking you have the right to kill a person who expresses themselves is fascist.  The entire world needs to rise up and stop these murderous ideologies.  No other faith in the world, other than Satanism, openly teaches to kill those that oppose you.  When is the world going to wake up?  When are we going to admit that people who believe in killing in the name of their God is a threat to everyone? Islamic Terrorism Across the World from 2009 to 2013 Muslim terrorists have struck again.  This time they have killed 12 members of the weekly satirical French newspaper Charlie Hebdo .  It is terrible news that these attacks have been carried out just for some cartoons that were done in poor taste.  Apparently Charlie Hebdo has done many offensive cartoons in the past.  Especially cartoons that have offended the Muslim world.  I had never heard of this publication until now.  When I Goggled it, I can see why people would be angry.  They are equal opportunity offenders since they have also made fun of Christians and Jews.
