Yesterday in Fort Hood, Texas , 13 soldiers were murdered by another soldier by the name of Nidal Malik Hasan. The telltale signs that something like this would one day happened in American soil, in a military base, have been ignored repeatedly by authorities as well as the American public. Just in the last two months several arrests to stop these plots have occurred in New York, Dallas, Colorado and Chicago. America is shocked by this tragic incident. When you turned on the tube, all you’ll hear people ask is “How could this have happened?” One mom asked “How could this man kill his own?” The truth is, as hard as it is to admit, Hasan never saw these American soldiers as his own people.
No one is saying or want to admit that what drove this maniac was his love for his religion. When he began shooting the soldiers he loudly shouted “Allah akbar!” Even the victims are making excuses for this guy saying “Oh, he was being bullied by other soldiers.” Or “He wanted out of the military in the worst way.” How many more innocent people need to die by the acts of religious extremists? When you believe that you have the right to kill people in the name of God, that is extreme. People should not think that this is an isolated incident. The teachings of Islam are ridden with mandates of revenge and killing people. In America, the teachings of Christianity have been silenced by political correctness. Christians are demanded by society to keep our mouths shut and not talk to other people about Christ so as not to offend anyone. We are expected to keep quiet out of respect to other cultures and religions--and accept their teachings.

When a person becomes Muslim he takes an oath stronger than any government pledge of allegiance. Every Muslims is mandated to defend the Umah with his or her life. It is a fact, in spite of many people not wanting to admit it. Personally, I believe that no one that professes to be Muslim should work for the government. It puts everyone in a precarious situation---including the Muslim because he will face many forms of bigotry. After 911 President George W. Bush said that Islam was a religion of peace. Is it? Today President Obama is asking us not to jump into any conclusions. The one conclusion that can be made is that only Jesus Christ preached a true religion of peace and love. He taught us to “Love and pray for our enemies.” Jesus said that even if we are wronged to turn the other cheek. He taught that we should not pay evil with evil, but rather love. A true practicing Christian, his/her countenance is like that of an angel, because Jesus Christ lives in them. And as such this blog condemns any backlash against our Muslim brethren. Muslims do not know any better. They are misguided souls who desperately need the true love of God which can only come from accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. That is the best change that can happen in the United States and the entire world. If you are Muslim and reading this (or another unbeliever) let Jesus come into your life. You will not regret it!
