One of those reasons is that if a person decides not to believe in Jesus Christ ---that person will not be physically killed. Other major religions explicitly order the killing of the one who leave their faith. Not Christianity! Christians will feel sad, but they will not persecute the one that leaves. Christians will always pray and hope that their brother or sister returns. Christians have a great example in the story of the Prodigal Son found in Luke 15:11-32.
